Comments on Commentaries

I recently posted my first installment of a serial, personal commentary on 1 Timothy from the New Testament. It is certainly un-definitive. I have simply been writing from the top of my head and the bottom of my heart. My plan for the rest of the commentary is to continue writing from my own thoughts while progressively reading external commentaries to shed light on the epistle and uncover gaps in my reasoning. Eventually I plan to re-issue my chapter-by-chapter commentaries, each with revisions and additions from the outside literature to provide a more balanced persepective on such a weighty book.
